Well I figured that it was about time someone created an Ice Barrier thread. Feel free to discuss anything related to them here.

Well to start off I'll post my Ice Barrier Wetlands Lockdown Build:

Main Idea is pretty simple

Wetlands + Dewdark = 2400 damage directly to the opponent's life points

Cryo - Stops all level 4 or Higher monsters from attacking

Barrier Statue - Locks down Special Summons and other Xyz monsters that can get
over Cryo's effect. (Use Demotion to make it lvl 2 so that Dewdark effect will still work)

Spellbreaker - Stops all magic spells usage in their tracks, also helps send IB to the graveyard to be revived later. I normally use this for a Rank 4 monster when I no longer need her effect. (also I can use Demotion on it like BS of Abyss above)

Prior - is always useful, lvl 2 and can revive other IB's in the graveyard.

Gantala and Defender - is just there in case things don't work out and I need a quick attack lock and a beater to finish off the opponent. Also Gantala can be used by Zubaba General for a quick and easy 4700 beater.

Medailian and Triangle is always useful, though I only run one triangle in this build.

Surface is a free monster reborn for most of the cards in this deck.

The trap cards in this deck is fairly standard except for Eisbahn, Safe Zone and Torrential Rebirth.

Rebirth - Helps against the ever present treat of Dark Hole and Torrential Tribute and can be use as a quick Negate attack with some burn damage.

Eisbahn - Stops none water monsters from attacking off the bat, giving me some time to decide what to do with it.

Safe Zone - is kinda just their to prevent Barrier Statue from being destroyed prematurely.

I don't really have an answer for trap cards, and i'm thinking of replacing Cryo with Level Limit B or something else.

Can't help but have a dislike for Demotion.. It can easily be broken. @-@
There's Falling Current (Target 1 face-up you control and it becomes level 1, 2 or 3), which is pretty much a permanent effect.

I didn't even know about that card. Thanks Irony, I'll use that card instead since that means I can even bring out Ganatala without messing with Dewdark and Cryo's effect.
